Research Supervision by Dr. Antonia Mantonakis

If you are interested in empirical research and data analysis, you may be interested in joining our lab team. As a member of the lab, you will learn how research is conducted, how to design and implement an experiment, and how to analyze the data you obtain from an experiment. A basic understanding of research methods and design is an asset to interested applicants.

Many fourth year undergraduate psychology students and business students make excellent candidates. Dr. Mantonakis supervises honours students in Psychology (PSYC 4F91) as well as Business students wishing to enroll in a research topics class (MKTG 4P91). There may also be a paid position available as a research assistant. If not, you can still gain valuable research experience as a volunteer.

Working with Dr. Mantonakis may also appeal to you if you are interested in pursuing graduate studies in either Psychology (MA, PhD) or Business (MSc) at Brock University.

If you are interested in joining the lab, please read some of Dr. Mantonakis’s recent publications to familiarize yourself with the research direction of the lab. If her research is something that interests you, send your statement of interest, resume, and transcripts to consumercognition@brocku.ca.
